Vintage Russian Lacquer Box Lenin Soviet Political Leader Signed 1952 Fedoskino

Vintage Russian Lacquer Box Lenin Soviet Political Leader Signed 1952 Fedoskino (COL-7) This is a vintage Russian lacquer box from 1952 which has a portrait of Vladimir Ulyanov Lenin, Soviet Political Leader. This lacquer box belonged to my father-in-law.

The lacquer box is dated 1952 and marked with the village name fedoskino in the left hand bottom corner of the box. I do not read Russian and am unable to translate the cyrillic script.

At the lower right hand side of the lacquer box is a red symbol or possibly a box number. The lacquer box has two hinges at the top, and the interior is a red lacquer. Description: The chest box is quite large. The box is made of high quality papier mache and is signed on the lid with the artist's name, village name and a number.

Measurement: 10" length, 7 1/2" wide, height 3 3/8". Inside the box is a red lacquer colour with hinges so that the box opens and closes.

The lacquer box is in excellent mint condition in my opinion. The lacquer box has a padded box to protect it. I saw no age cracking or damage only a 2/8" scuff mark in the lower right of the box. The inside of the box is in mint condition as well. Please feel free to email me if you have further questions or would like further photos.

I am only shipping to a residental CANADA or USA location. A signature is required upon delivery. There is NO option of shipping to a USA location that is a drop mail box which then routes to a OVERSEAS SHIPPING LOCATION.
