Antique Limoges Bridal Wreath Condensed Milk Container and Under Plate Elite Works France (POT-166) Here is an antique porcelain condensed milk container complete with its original under plate. The pattern is Bridal Wreath & is pink roses & purple flowers.

Antique Limoges Bridal Wreath Condensed Milk Container Measurement: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". 3 7/8 high.6 1/8" high with lid.

The porcelain condensed milk container has a pretty garland of pink roses & lavender purple flowers, green leaves with touches of yellow through the floral pattern. The pattern is at the top edge of the condensed milk container as well as the under plate & lid. The antique covered container has a gold gilt trim around the top edge of the condensed milk container and under plate. Also a speckled gold pattern on the handles of the condensed milk container and lid. There is also a secondary pattern at the base of the condensed milk container with tiny blue flowers & yellow accents.

Antique Limoges Bridal Wreath Condensed Milk Container Condition: The antique porcelain covered milk container and under plate is in very good condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing to the porcelain. There is some tiny wear to the speckled gold gilt on the handles and minor wear to the overall gold gilt areas. The under plate has some tiny manufacturers anomalies of pin dots & bubbles to the glaze.

The antique Bridal Wreath Condensed Milk Container and under plate was manufactured by Bawo and Dotter under the Limoges Elite Works stamps, France. Here is some information to determine the approximate age of the antique condensed milk container and under plate. In 1893, Bawo & Dotter a US company built its own factory in Limoges, calling it the Elite Works. The stamp Elite France or Elite Works France was used between 1892 and 1900. From this period, 1900 to 1914, the pieces were marked Limoges, France, with a red shield showing St. Mark and the words “Elite Works” above it and “Limoges France” below it. The same mark, but in green, was used from 1920 to 1932. SKU , 610 grams
