The antique porcelain dish handled tray has a pretty garland of pink roses & lavender purple flowers, green leaves with touches of yellow through the floral pattern in the upper inside edge. The antique dish handled tray has a gold gilt trim around the top edge & swirls of painted gold on the handles. The bottom of the dish is unglazed.

Antique Limoges Bridal Wreath Dish Handled Tray Condition: The antique dish handled tray's porcelain is in very good condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. There is a tiny manufacturing anomaly of a tiny circle in the glaze close to the inside dish area edge. The gold gilt is in very good condition with minor wear to the gilt and the swirl trim looks exact on both handles. There is light surface wear on the bottom of the dish from being rubbed against a surface.

The antique dish handled tray was manufactured by Bawo and Dotter under the Limoges Elite Works stamps, France. Here is some information to determine the approximate age of the antique dish.

In 1893, Bawo & Dotter a US company built its own factory in Limoges, calling it the Elite Works. The stamp Elite France or Elite Works France was used between 1892 and 1900. From this period, 1900 to 1914, the pieces were marked Limoges, France, with a red shield showing St. Mark and the words “Elite Works” above it and “Limoges France” below it. The same mark, but in green, was used from 1920 to 1932. 350 grams, SKU
