Antique Limoges Bridal Wreath 9 1/2" Dinner Plate Condition: The antique porcelain dinner plate is in very good condition. As there are 8 plates available for sale I have taken several photos showing the conditions mentioned within the available 8 plates. Such as: there are some tiny manufacturing anomalies - a pin dot or dots in the glaze. A tiny round bubble in the glaze on a couple of plates. A small light utensil mark(s) on a few of the available dinner plates. On the bottom of some of the porcelain plates available, there is some small surface black rubbing marks on some of the plates. The stamp on the bottom of the dinner plate reads: Limoges Elite France and the second stamp reads: Elite Works Limoges France. I saw no chips, cracks or crazing to the porcelain.

The gold gilt around the top edge of the antique porcelain dinner plate is in very good condition with minor wear to the gold gilt.

The antique porcelain 9 1/2" dinner plate was manufactured by Bawo and Dotter under the Limoges Elite Works stamps, France. Here is some information to determine the approximate age of the antique dinner plate. In 1893, Bawo & Dotter a US company built its own factory in Limoges, calling it the Elite Works. The stamp Elite France or Elite Works France was used between 1892 and 1900. From this period, 1900 to 1914, the pieces were marked Limoges, France, with a red shield showing St. Mark and the words “Elite Works” above it and “Limoges France” below it. The same mark, but in green, was used from 1920 to 1932. 600 grams, SKU
