Here is a Victorian antique handmade silk table runner. Other uses would be as a mantle dresser scarf. Also included is the matching table doily from the 1900's.
The antique table runner has been done with red silk threads which gives it a wonderful sheen.
The handmade Victorian antique silk table runner workmanship is a knotted type of hand work & perhaps done on a loom.
Antique Silk Table Runner Measurements: 33" x 14".
Antique Silk Table Doily Measurements: 15" x 9"
Antique Silk Table Runner Condition: Both the antique silk table runner and table doily are in very good pre-owned condition. There are some stray threads than need to be tucked in with a needle and tread. The fringes just need to be pressed so that it lies flat.
