This is an antique table runner dresser cover mantle scarf that features a hand embroidered monogram with the initals L G or L S and detailed hand embroidery cross stitch work.
The cross stitch work was done using blue & red embroidery floss threads in a geometric cross stitch pattern & a heart shape pattern. I was told that this table runner is Swedish embroidery work.
The antique table runner is finished off with a fringe at each end.
Antique Table Runner Measurement: 44” x 19” including fringe. Material: cotton or perhaps a cotton
Condition: The antique table runner is in very good overall condition with no holes, tears or odors. The table runner fringe is frizzy at the bottom. On the antique table runner there are some light golden marks (see photos). The antique towel table runner is in "as found condition".
