Vintage French Kitchen Tea Towel Measurement: 33" x 23 1/4" approx.

Vintage French Kitchen Tea Towel Condition: The tea towel is in excellent condition. With the available towels for sale, there are a few age dirt storage marks along the folds but no obvious faults with the towel.

Circa: early 20th century. Color: beige

Material: The French seller said the towels that I purchased were linen however they may be Metis. Metis it is a woven fabric in which linen is used for the vertical thread and cotton is used for the horizontal thread. I have taken a close-up of the fibers.

There is some stiffness to the towel and the towel may be unused or at the least lightly used. It is extremely tough so the tea towel should last years. The towel has a selvage side edges and hand stitched top and bottom edges. The towel has a hanging strap at the left hand corner of the towel.

This towel is sure to add a beautiful French touch in your kitchen.
