This is a vintage English brocade tapestry table Runner. This vintage brocade tapestry was used for a church podium lectern. The vintage tapestry panel has a fringe at the bottom edge. Vintage English Brocade Tapestry Panel pattern: Victorian design of swirls & shapes, roses & the silver thread in the tapestry has a shiny sheen to it.
Vintage English Brocade Tapestry Panel Table Runner Measurement: 25" x 15".
The vintage English brocade tapestry church panel looks handmade as it has a machine stitched small hem at the top & a fringe at the bottom edge. The sides are machine stitched.
Vintage English Brocade Tapestry Panel Table Runner Condition: On the front, there are a couple of thread wear spots. Also a couple of tiny brown spots at left hand edge. There is a repair patch on the reverse side of the tapestry. A few stitches needed to reinforce the fringe at the bottom edge.
A couple of stray threads which just need to be tacked down with a needle and thread.
