This is a 1940ís peach satin bedspread, pillow cover and bureau table dresser scarf and doily set. Based on the measurements I believe the bedspread would suit a twin or full bed. There are 6 pieces to the set (bedspread, long pillow sham cover, 1 bureau and 1 dresser scarf and 2 table doilies.

Both the bedspread and long pillow sham cover have a quilted heart shape decorated with taised piping that has been attached with chenille thread. There are tiny tuffsof green chenille representing a scrolling leaf decoration.

The fabric is unknown to me - perhaps rayon acetate with a muslin cotton backing.

This is a fabulous set of retro decor and is reminiscent of the Hollywood glamour period of earlier decades.

For display purposes I have taken the photos on a queen bed however it is better suited for a narrower bed.

Vintage Bedspread Measurements:

Each of the side panel that hang down are 16" deep. The top bedspread area from left bed edge to right bed edge is 51". Making the total width of 83"

The length from top to bottom of the bedspread is 75" deep.

Pillow Sham Cover Measurement: 16" on both ends - the part that hangs down. Pillow Cover Area - 51" long x 15" deep

Bureau scarf 29" x 12 1/2", Dresser scarf 36" x 12 1/2", 2 small doilies, each 8" x 8" approx.

Vintage Bedspread and Pillow Sham Cover Condition: All of the pieces are in very good condition. I have washed all of the pieces. There are approximate 10 chenille threads that will need to be tucked in again with a needle and thread. 3" of the padded batting also needs to be tucked in with a needle and thread. One of the runner has a small seam opening. One of the doilies has a small seam opening.
