Here is an antique delicate, airy cotton lawn and muslin bedspread and a separate antique pillow lay over sham featuring lace trim inserts, drawnwork & lace trim edging. Circa 1920's. This is a 5 pc set. The antique bedspread bed cover is made to accommodate a 4 poster bed.

Also included is a pink cotton bed cover with 2 pillowcases. The cotton bed cover is a covering that is meant to go under a lace coverlet to show off the lacework.

Antique Bedspread Bed Cover Measurement: 85" x 92"

Antique Pillow Lay Over Sham Measurement: 77" x 37"

The antique bedspread bed cover measurement of 85" wide is at the straight top edge of the sheet. The antique bedspread bed cover is open at the bottom side edges to accommodate the posts and the width is narrower in this section.

Antique Bedspread Bed Cover and Pillow Layover Sham Material: Gauzy ivory yellow cotton (perhaps muslin), cotton lace strip inserts & edging.

The antique Pillow Lay Over Sham features a large lace oval in the center of the pillow layover sham. There are side lace insets that line up with those in the coverlet, additional straight line open drawn work, and lace edging.

The antique bedspread bed cover features strips of lace close to the bed edge, triangular insets like fleur de lis above the bottom lace strip, and a large lace hexagon in the center area of the antique bedspread, all with various designs reminiscent of flowers. There is also additional details of open drawn work lines and decorative stitching between the hexagon and the side strips of lace.

The photos of the antique bedspread bed cover and pillow layover sham were taken using a queen size bed.

Antique Bedspread Bed Cover and Pillow Lay Over Sham Condition: The 2 pc. set bedspread bed cover and pillow layover sham are in very good condition with some tiny minor faults.

The antique bedspread bed cover has a 1" seam opening where the cloth and the lace begin. It will just need a small mend with a needle and thread. The lace trim around the outer edge of the antique bedspread bed cover has some stray threads and these will need to be turned under and stitched with a needle and thread to tidy the antique bedspread bed cover up.

The antique pillow lay over sham has numerous stray threads and these will need to be turned under and stitched with a needle and thread to tidy the antique pillow lay over sham up.

I am selling it "as stored". The antique 2 pc. bedspread bed cover and antique pillow lay over sham will need a gentle soak. There is a small amount of rust staining on 1 side edge of the antique bedspread bed cover and may need to be treated with a rust removal product.

This antique bed sheet has has been sewn to accommodate a post bed as there is an opening on either side at the bottom bed sheet where the wood post would be.

Also, included are 2 pink pillowcases (different shade of color than the bed sheet cover). color: pale peach and a bed sheet cover.

Antique Bed Sheet Cover Measurement: 86" x 89"

Pillow Pillowcase Measurement: 31 1/2" x 19 1/2 (see photos). Material: Cotton (I believe) Weight: Light.

Antique Bed Sheet Cover Condition: There is a separation of a couple inches in the seam of the pink bed sheet cover.

At the bottom opening of the antique bed under cover there is also a small mend needed to reinforce the opening (see photo).

The top edge of the antique bed sheet cover is uneven (see photo).

There are a few small pale rust-colored spots on the antique bed sheet cover but very subtle. I only noticed them as I was folding the antique bed under cover up.
