Here is a set of 4 antique doily coasters that feature Society Silk hand embroidered flowers and drawn work.
The antique Society Silk hand embroidered doily coasters features 3 poinsettia leaves motifs (shiny red shades). The embroidered poinsettia leaves have yellow green decorated buds & there are 3 different techniques of lace drawn work inserts. The antique doily coasters are nicely finished off around the bottom edge with a embroidered leaf motifs in pink and grey and a grey embroidered edge.
Measurement: 4 2/8" round approx.
Condition: Very good. I saw no obvious faults. There are grey stray fluff embroidery threads at the edge on some of the antique society silk doily coasters.
Color: Ivory grey tone (see photo beside a white piece of paper).
