This antique vintage French mantle shelf runner features handmade embroidered Richelieu cutwork of figural images and a lace and tassel edge.
There are 5 figural motifs on the antique French mantle shelf runner: an angel in the middle, a "cavalier" left and right and a flower basket at each end.
This is a French "dessus de cheminée".
