This listing is for a handmade antique Honiton lace collar that features 2 figural birds and thistles and a flowers and leaves design. Please note: there are some condition issues and the collar will need to be repaired before using. There is a hole at each side of the front of the lace collar. The holes are due to missing connecting brides. Also, some threads that are sticking up that will need to be tucked back in. Also, a few repairs needed to improve the lace edging in places. As well, there have been some previous mends to the lace edging in the past. Please view all photos and description below.
Antique Handmade Honiton Lace Collar Measurement: The depth on the lace collar is irregular 5 1/2" at center top to bottom; however some other areas are 4 1/2" approx. 6 1/2" at 2 side areas; 16" inside neck area; 44" lower bottom edge.
Antique Handmade Honiton Lace Collar Distressed Condition: There is a hole at each side of the front of the lace collar. The holes are due to missing connecting brides.
Also, some threads that are sticking up that will need to be tucked back in.
