Here is a antique vintage French ladies dress lace collar with a pretty flower pattern with a gimp outline and a mesh net ground. A beautiful lace collar that would be lovely for your sewing project, display or period costume.
I am not certain of origin or age. The ladies dress lace collar was a purchase from France and circa 1920 according to the previous seller.
Antique Lace Collar Measurements: 28" outside edge. 4" deep. 16 1/2" inside neck edge.
Antique Lace Collar Condition: Please use the photos as your guide. There are some enlarged holes and some broken threads. 3 tiny spots where the cord has lifted. The buyer would want to make the repairs to prevent them from becoming larger.
I am a beginner in handmade lace identification. In looking at the closeups it looks to be handmade however please use the photos as your guide. If any EBayers can help in the identification of the lace I would be very grateful to gain experience from your knowledge.
