This listing is for a beautiful 1940's vintage lace ladies Bertha dress collar that features a intricate needlelace detailed flower design. The Bertha lace collar is quite striking in size and has a cape like effect. The lace collar style is of needle lace with fillings and raised cord gimp around the floral flowers. This is machine done lace work. A beautiful dress collar that would be lovely for your sewing project, display or period costume.
Antique Vintage Lace Ladies Bertha Collar Measurements: This lovely antique vintage measures 18" inside neck edge. It measures 13" deep at the back. It measures 10 1/2" deep at the front edge. 4 3/4 at the center front. It measures 24" across the upper back.
Color: Cream Ivory - please see photo against a white piece of paper. Material - cotton I believe, however no identifying label. Medium weight.
Antique Vintage French Lace Ladies Bertha Collar Condition: The antique vintage French ladies dress collar is in excellent condition with a couple of tiny inperfections. A break in the threadwork and a tiny piece of cord that has lifted (see photos).
