Here is a lovely net handmade antique bobbin lace trim dress front insert remnant. The antique bobbin lace dress insert remnant applique features a flowers and leaf motif with buttonhole fillings.
Antique Net Bobbin Lace Trim Dress Front Insert Measurement: 7" from left to right edge (approx); sides 5 1/2" approx.; 6" center top to center bottom edge.
Color: ivory
I usually sell my lace ‘as found’ which means it comes unwashed, and there may be some staining.
Condition: 1 small tear to the net at the left right side edge. A few tiny holes to the net. Some small wear to the leaves at the edges (see photos).
I am a beginner in some handmade lace identification. In looking at the closeups it looks to be handmade however please use the photos as your guide. If anyone can help in the identification of the lace I would be very grateful to gain experience from your knowledge.
