This listing is for a distressed net lace trim that is best suited for small sewing projects, crafts or repurpose. The net lace trim has a pretty Jacobean style design. I believe it was originally a collar or capelet as both the top and bottom have a finished edge and there is a center back handsewn seam.
Antique Vintage Net Lace Trim Condition: Distressed lace trim. There are a number of holes within the lace (see photos) as well as a few that were not noticeable to me. The depth of the antique net lace trim is different on each edge. The left side has a finish edge and the right side does not which means that some lace was cut off from the original collar or capelet.
Antique Net Lace Trim Measurement: 22" left to right upper edge; 35" left to right bottom edge; 9 1/2" top to bottom center seam; 6 1/2" deep left side edge' 8" deep right side edge.
Color: dark lemon shade - the lace needs to be washed which will change the color of the lace. Material: cotton ? Purchased from France in a lace lot.
