The listing is for a pair of antique handmade Duchesse bobbin lace wedding half dress sleeves. Each of the antique bobbin lace dress half sleeves has a beautiful flower design with a single small Pointe de Gaze needlelace insert.
The Duchesse bobbin lace half dress sleeves are meant to be attached to a dress sleeve. Originally the sleeves were on a wedding dress. There were 2 tiny hooks which was how the sleeve was attached to the wedding dress sleeve. I have since removed the 2 hooks.
The Duchesse bobbin lace half dress sleeves would be lovely used again for a wedding, bridal wear or period costume.
Antique Duchesse Bobbin Lace Dress Half Sleeve Measurement: I have taken the width measurement in 3 places as well as the length.
Length of the 1/2 Dress Sleeve Measurement 10 1/2" approx.
Close to the Top edge: 5" from left to right therefore 10" total
Middle area: 3 1/2" from left to right therefore 7" total
Narrow at the Bottom edge: 3" from left to right therefore 6" total
Antique Duchess Bobbin Lace Dress Half Sleeve Condiition. Good pre-used condition with some tiny wear at the top edge. As is condition - the buyer will want to to launder and press the lace sleeves.
