This listing is for a stunning antique Booths Dovedale double handles flat cream soup bowl and saucer set.
On the bottom of the antique cream soup bowl and under plate saucer are the backstamp marking of the Booth logo A8044, made in England Dovedale A8044. Age circa early 1900's-1920's.
The colours are rust and blue on a white background and decoration of gold gilt.
Measurement of the Booths Dovedale soup bowl 4 6/8" in diameter. 6" handle to handle. 1 6/8" high.
The Booths Dovedale saucer has a scalloped edge and is 6 2/8" in diameter.
The Booths Dovedale double handles cream soup bowl has Imari style colors of cobalt blue and rust designs on both the outside and inside of the soup bowl area against a white background. Gilt gold is around the rim, handles and on the design directly.
Condition: The antique Booths Dovedale 2 piece cream soup bowl and saucer set is in very good pre-owned condition however it is old and has been used. There will be some light surface scratching from utensils, light wear consistent with light use, tiny manufacturing blemishes, only noticeable on very close inspection. A couple of blue paint dots. Minor wear to the gold gilt.
