Silverplate Serving Gravy Ladle Pairpoint 1880 MYRTLE Etched pattern
Here is a lovely silverplate Serving Gravy Ladle in the collectible MYRTLE pattern. The Myrtle pattern was first introduced by Pairpoint Manufacturing Co. in 1880. The pattern has a lovely flower and leaf design etched on the handle of the ladle.
Measurements: 6 6/8" in length.
The silverplate berry spoon is in good condition with some small wear to the back of the silverplate. There are many small surface scratches to the front and back of the bowl area of the gravy ladle that would be normal with use. The back of the gravy ladle has a small heel wear mark at the spot where the ladle would rest on the table (please see photo 4).
I saw no dents, repairs or monogram. The back of the gravy ladle is back stamped 1880 Pairpoint Manufacturing Co. I have not cleaned the silverplate but will do so for the buyer so that it is table ready.
